Thank you for your interest in the Sunrise Health Graduate Medical Education Consortium.
The program was accredited in 2016 for 28 residency positions. The first class of residents began work July 2016. We expanded to 25 residents in academic year 2018-2019.
I am excited about mentoring and training surgeons who are just beginning their careers and the opportunities available for residents at Sunrise Health’s General Surgery Residency Program.
Although a commitment to remain in Nevada is not a requirement, we are especially interested in surgeons who are interested in practicing in this underserved area.
I invite you to explore the site for program specific information, eligibility requirements, and application links. The faculty and I are pleased to welcome applications.
