The Sunrise Health System Hospitals Earn Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® Recognition from The Joint Commission

Las Vegas, NV — The Sunrise Health System, which is comprised of Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, MountainView Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital, were recognized today by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures during 2013 for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care. Sunrise, MountainView and Southern Hills are among the 1,224 hospitals to meet or exceed the target rates of performance for 2013.

Southern Hills has achieved Top Performer designation for four consecutive years. MountainView has achieved Top Performer designation for two consecutive years, and three out of the past four years. Sunrise has achieved Top Performer designation in two of the last three years.
