MountainView Hospital welcomed its third class of pharmacy residents this week.

The talented group of eight residents are the third class of postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residents at MountainView Hospital.

"We are thrilled to welcome our third class of Pharmacy residents," said Stephen Chromi, Pharmacy Residency Manager at MountainView Hospital. "Our program provides a variety of highly specialized rotations that aren't always present or easy to find all in one program, and brings a diverse pool of clinical pharmacist preceptors from around the country whose wide range of experiences make the residency program rich."

The eight pharmacy residents, Dustin Adams, Jacqueline Lee, Lindsey Nguyen, Stacey Nguyen, Wayne Park, Vy Pham, Jiratchaya Suriyachottakul, Mariam Zand, joined MountainView Hospital's campus earlier this month.

"We warmly welcome our third class of pharmacy residents to MountainView Hospital and look forward to integrating them into our culture of putting our patients first," said Jeremy Bradshaw, MountainView Hospital Chief Executive Officer. "Our class of pharmacy residents has increased since the inaugural class. This is just one example of how our hospital is maturing as a teaching institution, while allowing us to train the next generation of pharmacists for our community."

MountainView Hospital's Pharmacy Residency program is separate from the Sunrise Health Graduate Medical Education Consortium and is solely based at MountainView Hospital.
