Las Vegas, NV — MountainView Hospital's Las Vegas Institute for Robotic Surgery held an advanced course for benign gynecologic surgery on Saturday, May 17, 2014.
The goal of the course was to provide benign gynecologic surgeons who use the robotic system with information, tips, and techniques to help expand and improve their robotic skills with a specific emphasis on fundamental surgical planning, including patient positioning and port placement. Attendees were encouraged to bring videos of their procedures for the case review portion of the course.
The panel style lecture featured presentations and case reviews from experienced physicians at the Las Vegas Institute for Robotic Surgery: Dr. Lynn Kowalski, medical director of the Las Vegas Institute for Robotic Surgery, Dr. Victor Grigoriev, Dr. Darin Swainston, and Dr. Alex Lee.
