- Childbirth Education
This class is designed to offer expectant parents a better understanding of what to expect in the third trimester of pregnancy, through labor and the delivery process. This increased knowledge will enhance the pleasure of your birthing experience. This is a four hour class. Please call to register prior to your 32nd week of pregnancy. ($40)
- Natural Childbirth Education PDF Brochure
This is a class to prepare parents for Natural Childbirth, using holistic methods and Lamaze breathing. Breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as optimal positions for labor will be discussed. Class is a four week class and is limited to six couples. Please call to register prior to your 32nd week of pregnancy. ($80 for class series)
- Breast is Best
Expectant parents learn tips for successful breastfeeding techniques. This is a two hour class. ($25)
- Sibling Class
Siblings ages 2 through 12 will be able to visit MountainView with their parents to learn about some of the responsibilities of being a big brother or sister. During the class they will learn about newborns and will take a tour of the Maternity Unit to become familiar with the hospital room setting and equipment. Classes are 1 ½ hours long. ($15)
- What to Expect When You are Done Expecting
This class provides information for parents regarding your hospital experience from delivery and beyond. ($25)
- Daddy Boot Camp: Basic Training for New Dads
Daddy Boot Camp is designed to prepare new dads for assisting mom and baby after leaving the hospital. This class is taught by a member of our Medical committee. Sorry, no moms or kids allowed. Class is two hours. ($25)
- Women’s Center Tour
Tour MountainView’s private birthing suites and get to know our caring staff. Our tour guides will meet you in the front lobby. This is a free, one-hour tour.
