Nevada’s First Single-Site Gallbladder Removal Performed Today at MountainView Hospital

MountainView Hospital announced today that Francis W. Teng, M.D., F.A.C.S., performed the first Single-Site Robotic Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder Removal) in the state of Nevada. MountainView is the only hospital in Nevada to offer this single-site technology.

MountainView Hospital First in Nevada to Perform Robotic Bariatric Surgery

MountainView Hospital is pleased to announce that last week Dr. Francis Teng performed Nevada’s first robotically-assisted Bariatric surgery in the hospital’s operating room. MountainView Hospital is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and Dr. Teng is the Medical Director for MountainView’s Surgical Weight Loss Center.

Las Vegas, Nev. (August 9, 2011) – MountainView Hospital is pleased to announce the recent launch of its Robotic Surgery Program, which includes the advanced technology of a da Vinci Si HD Surgical System- the first of its kind in Nevada.
