"iNotify" lets residents quickly alert hospital staff of their arrival from their Smartphone

Las Vegas, NV – The Hospitals of the Sunrise Health System are proud to announce the launch of a new Emergency Room notification feature, iNotify, through the mobile healthcare app iTriage® – enabling people to notify the ER staff in advance that they are en route to the hospital.

When a consumer uses the iTriage application to locate Sunrise Hospital, MountainView Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital or Sunrise Children’s Hospital, they have the option to click "iNotify" from each of the facilities’ listings. From there, users can fill out details like symptoms experienced, allergies and any other information that helps staff prepare for their arrival.

"More than 50% of Americans now own a Smartphone, and they are increasingly relying on them to access information," said Sylvia Young, President and CEO of the Sunrise Health System. "Launching iNotify allows us to provide our community with the technology and resources to quickly find and access care when they have an immediate medical need, while at the same time allowing hospital staff to prepare for the needs of incoming patients."

iTriage is available as a free download from app stores for iPhone® and Android™ devices, and is accessible from any Internet-enabled device at www.iTriageHealth.com. Downloaded nearly six million times, iTriage also allows Smartphone and web users to quickly research symptoms, diseases and procedures and access a nationwide database of medical facilities.
